Policies

Deposits:

Inn reservation deposits: 50% of the reservation will be charged to a credit card, the balance is due at check-in with a credit card or cash. Phone-in room reservations will be processed when guests complete the Reservation Confirmation form by website or fax.

Holiday and Special Events: Entire reservation is charged.

Spa services deposits: Spa services and treatments are charged at time of scheduling to a credit card and is subject to availability.

Minimum stay:

Holiday period's reservations; A 3 night minimum is required for Fireplace and Suites, 2 night minimum is required for Family and Queen Rooms.

5 Weeks during Marlboro Music Festival reservations; A 3 night minimum is required for Queen Rooms, Family rooms and Suites.

Reservations are guaranteed and guests are responsible for entire period reserved.

No refunds for early departure or late/missed arrivals. We do not "overbook" our rooms, but hold your reservation for those dates & turning others away for your time period.

Inn reservations cancellation: before 21 days of stay, 80% of deposit is refunded. Within 21 days of stay, half of deposit is forfeited, half of deposit is usable at a future stay*. Balance of stay is charged and refundable only if room is resold.

* Balance must be used within 1 year, otherwise will be forfeited.

Spa services cancellations: before 14 days of appointment, 80% of service is refunded. Within 14 days of your appointment, treatment is non-refundable.

Holiday periods, Marlboro Music Festival and Special Events Cancellations; 50% is forfeited; Balance is refundable only if room(s) is/are resold.

Rescheduling fee; $25.00.

Additional:

Occupancy: All room rates are based on single/double room occupancy. Additional person is $20.00/night non-holiday, $40/holiday night. All rooms have a maximum occupancy number, which by Law indicates how many people may sleep in that room.

Fees & Payment Options: All rates are subject to a 10% Vermont Rooms and Meals Tax, gratuity is not included. Payments made by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and cash are accepted. Card holder accepts and agrees to pay any and all fees, charges and penalties resulting from charge back disputes.

Damage to Rooms: As romantic as eating and drinking in the rooms may be, guests are responsible for any damage to the rooms/contents. No pets are allowed at the inn. The Inn at Trail's End is a Non Smoking Inn; smoking in a room will result in a cleaning fee of $150 to $200 plus and damage. Keys as difficult as they are to remember are subject to a $50 replacement fee.

Check-In/Check-Out: Check in is any time after 2:00 p.m. (after 10 p.m. with special arrangements only). Check-out time is any time prior to 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure, 11a.m. to 1 p.m. will result in a late check out fee of $30, after 1 p.m. another day will be charged.

We strive for tranquility at The Inn at Trails End & Spa: Well behaved children are welcome at the Inn. No unsupervised children under the age of 12 in the; Spa area, game room, common area or pool area. Lack of supervision and disturbing our home will result in being asked to leave without refund. If guests are disruptive and non-cooperative in maintaining the tranquility of the Inn, we reserve the right to require them to leave, without refund.
